Government Control Newspapers are Coming to an End

In Arab countries government sponsored newspapers use to have a media monopoly, but now face a uncertain future, as social media in the Arab countries have eclipsed the government run newspapers (pg. 6).  Not only is the Arab people becoming stronger, it was reported by Google executives that 100 million Arabs are expected to be online by 2015 (pg. 5)  With the help of social media, hopefully, the days of 'bloggers' and 'twitters' being imprisoned and tortured for their beliefs will come to an end.
